Region Gotland is currently recruiting dedicated physiotherapists for our clinics in Hemse, Slite, and Visby. We offer a unique working environment within primary care, funded by grants, which allows us to focus on quality, medical assessment, and providing the right intervention at the right time – for both patients and employees.
Our team consists of 18 licensed physiotherapists with specialized expertise in areas such as women's health, orthopedic manual therapy (OMT), the McKenzie Method (MDT), and sports medicine. Here, you will have excellent opportunities for supervision, collegial networks, and competence development in collaboration with, among others, the Academic Primary Care Centre (APC).
Your Responsibilities
Working closely with patients in primary care, you will have significant freedom to influence your schedule and shape your workday based on patient needs and clinical planning. Your duties include, but are not limited to:
- Medical assessments and treatments during both physical visits and digital consultations.
- Triage – initial assessments of patients seeking care without a referral.
- Leading exercise groups, supporting collaborating partners, and actively participating in development work.
Who are you?
We are looking for you who are a licensed physiotherapist or physical therapist and wish to develop in a broad and stimulating primary care role. Further education in Mental Health, MDT, OMT, or other musculoskeletal assessment and treatment methods is advantageous. We believe you have a strong clinical mind, curiosity to learn, and the willingness to work both independently and as part of a competent team.
