We are now looking for an engaged teacher for grades 1–3 at Kyrkskolan in Mellösa.

HERE WILL BE YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

As a primary school teacher with us, you have a central and significant role where you are responsible for teaching in grades 1–3. You plan, conduct, and evaluate lessons that spark students' curiosity and desire to learn. Your teaching is firmly rooted in the curriculum (Lgr 22), and you are skilled at adapting pedagogy to students' different prerequisites, needs, and interests.

In the classroom, you are the safe point that creates a structured and inspiring learning environment. You actively work to lay the foundation for students' continued schooling by focusing on both basic skills and social development. Through a solution-focused approach and good variation in teaching, you ensure that every student feels seen and has the opportunity to reach their full potential.

As a teacher at Kyrkskolan, you are an important part of a professional work team where collaboration and collegial learning are in focus. You are responsible for building good relationships with both students and guardians, and you see cooperation as a prerequisite for success. You actively contribute to the school's systematic quality work and participate in the development of our operations to create a school where both students and staff thrive and develop.

FOR THIS ROLE, YOU MUST:

• Be a qualified teacher for teaching in grades 1-3.
• Have very good communicative skills in Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Have good knowledge of the primary school's steering documents and the ability to plan and conduct clear, goal-oriented, and varied teaching.
• Have good digital competence and experience using digital tools in teaching.

Kyrkskolan in Mellösa is a smaller municipal rural school located approximately 6 kilometers north of Flen. Here, teaching is conducted for students in preschool class to grade 6, as well as after-school care and after-school clubs. The school has approximately 120 students and works with a focus on safety, knowledge, and good relationships.

• Scope: Full-time, permanent (probation may apply).
