We are now looking for a substitute craft teacher (slöjd) in textile craft and wood and metal craft on a part-time basis at Bruksskolan in Hälleforsnäs.

HERE ARE YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

In this position, you are responsible for teaching both textile craft and wood and metal craft for students from Bruksskolan and Kyrkskolan. You will have a creative and independent role where you are responsible for developing and driving the craft subject forward.

You plan, conduct, and follow up on teaching according to the Swedish National Curriculum (Lgr22) and create lessons that spark students' curiosity, joy of creation, and problem-solving skills. You are also responsible for ensuring that the craft rooms are safe, inspiring, and well-organized learning environments where materials and tools are handled in a structured manner.

In this role, you work independently and create a clear thread in the teaching for different student groups. You make students' learning processes visible and strengthen their craftsmanship, creativity, and confidence in their own abilities. Together with colleagues, you contribute to the students' development and a positive school environment.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS ROLE:

• You are a certified teacher with qualifications to teach craft, with a focus on textile craft and/or wood and metal craft.
• You have very good communicative skills in Swedish, both spoken and written.
• You have good knowledge of the school system's steering documents and the ability to plan and conduct clear, goal-oriented, and varied teaching.
• You have good digital competence and experience using digital tools in teaching.

Bruksskolan in Hälleforsnäs is a municipal primary school with operations from preschool class to grade 6.
