Xenter University College in Botkyrka is now looking for an experienced and engaged consultant/teacher for instruction within the Marine Service Technician education program. The assignment covers five sub-courses with a strong practical focus and close connection to the industry's needs.
About the assignmentThe teaching takes place on-site at Xenter's premises in Tumba and covers the following courses:
- Boat maintenance and service
- Marine propulsion technology
- Marine installations
- Marine systems
- Marine electronics and data networks
The education combines theory and practice, with teaching hours from 09:00 to 16:00. One day per week consists of theoretical instruction for the whole class, while four days per week involve practical sessions in half-classes.
We are looking for someone who has- Many years of experience within the boat industry
- Substantial and up-to-date competence in marine systems and service technology
- Experience in teaching, preferably within higher vocational education (YH) or upper secondary school
- Ability to combine pedagogy with practical knowledge
- Good teamwork skills and experience working independently
- CV
- Short presentation of your experience and pedagogical background
- References, if applicable
