About the role

We are currently looking for a Technical Writer to join an exciting consulting assignment within energy technology and industrial systems. You will become part of a company that develops and delivers advanced turbine and energy solutions to a global market. In this role, you will create, manage, and develop technical documentation and information products for complex technical systems. You will collaborate closely with technical specialists and contribute to ensuring clear, pedagogical, and user-friendly information for both internal and external audiences.

Main responsibilities

As a Technical Writer, your tasks will include, but are not limited to:

• Producing and developing technical manuals and information products
• Creating project-specific instructions and documentation
• Maintaining and further developing standard templates and classification trees in CMS systems
• Working with topic-based authoring, DITA, and XML
• Gathering, structuring, and verifying information from technical specialists
• Ensuring that documentation maintains high quality and is adapted to the target audience

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with a strong interest in technical information who thrives in a role where structure, precision, and collaboration are key parts of everyday life. You have good system proficiency and a natural ability to quickly grasp complex technical information, as well as gather and process material from various technical specialists. As a person, you are curious, analytical, and solution-oriented. You work methodically and patiently even when challenges arise, and you have a knack for adapting information to different audiences in a pedagogical and clear manner. We also value that you are communicative, unpretentious, and enjoy working both independently and in teams. You have post-secondary education in technical information, information technology, or a similar field, along with a few years of experience working with technical documentation. Furthermore, you have experience with topic-based authoring, DITA, and XML, and feel confident in independently creating and developing technical content. You express yourself fluently in both Swedish and English, both orally and in writing.
