About the Role

As a Technical Writer, you will work with producing, structuring, and maintaining technical documentation in a complex and technology-driven environment. A large part of the work takes place in XML and various authoring tools, where you ensure that information is correct, consistent, and easy to use.

You will also work with structural analysis, analyzing how information should be built up and organized to meet both technical requirements and user needs. The role includes elements of programming as well as system and database management, making it particularly exciting for you who have an interest in code or technology beyond writing.

You are part of a team of technical writers where collaboration is central, while you are also expected to take significant personal responsibility for your deliverables. In your daily work, you interact with various stakeholders, which means you sometimes need to take the initiative to gather information and drive the work forward.

Your Profile

You are a person who thrives in a role where technology and structure meet communication. You have a natural curiosity and enjoy diving into new systems and ways of working. At the same time, you are self-motivated and take responsibility for planning and driving your work forward. You have a social approach and feel comfortable contacting others to solve problems or obtain the right information. You are motivated by working independently but also appreciate being part of a team where knowledge is shared and each other is supported.

Requirements:

• 3–5 years of relevant experience, for example as a technical writer with an interest in programming or completed coursework in the area.
• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Experience working in technical environments (formal education is not a requirement).
• Before employment, you must undergo a security interview and be approved according to current security regulations. This may imply citizenship requirements.

Merits:

• Experience with authoring tools, such as Adobe Illustrator or similar (the more, the better).
• Programming skills through education or work experience combined with technical writing.
• Experience working in XML or similar structured formats.
