We are looking for a project manager for the project "Speaking with Music"!

Kinda Library has been granted funding from Region Östergötland to promote reading through the project "Speaking with Music," a project aimed at strengthening children's language development and interest in reading for ages 3–8. The work involves collaboration and networking with the Family Team, preschools, and after-school centers. We visit preschools and after-school centers, but they also visit us at the library. We want to complement the regular operations and promote reading by playfully using music as a tool to create language.

Kinda Library, together with other public libraries in Östergötland and Tranås, forms the Göta Libraries. The goal of the Göta Libraries is to bring people together, make knowledge alive, awaken imagination, and enable everyone to discover and learn to create a strong and sustainable society where everyone can achieve their dreams.

This is what we expect from you:

We are looking for you who have a university education as a preschool teacher, teacher, librarian, or another education that the employer considers equivalent. You play one or more instruments and have experience in pedagogical work with children.

The role involves many contacts with both children, guardians, and other partners, which requires you to be service-oriented and have good social skills. You easily inspire and engage both children and adults, have a strong interest in literature, especially children's literature, and good knowledge in the field.

As a person, you are structured, flexible, and have the ability to handle varying tasks even during periods of high tempo. You collaborate well with others, easily create and develop relationships, and contribute ideas and initiatives. You enjoy working both independently and together with others and take responsibility for moving your work forward.

We will place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Evening and weekend shifts may occur.
Good computer skills.
A valid driver's license (Category B) is required.

The position is a project employment at 50% during the period 2026-09-01 to 2026-12-31, or by agreement. The position may be extended if necessary decisions are made.

Employment type: Fixed-term employment.
Duration: 3–6 months, Start date: 2026-09-01 or by agreement, End date: 2026-12-31.
