Do you have experience working as a Technical Writer/Technical Information Officer? Would you like to take on a leadership role in product documentation in the long term? Then we want you to apply to us at Toyota Material Handling Europe in Mjölby!

As a Technical Writer, your responsibilities will include:

• Creating technical texts tailored to different target groups, primarily forklift operators and service technicians.
• Producing texts and images that explain how our products function and are used, as well as how to maintain and repair them.
• Participating in ongoing projects within cross-functional collaborations.
• Expanding your knowledge of our complex products.

We are located close to product development and production. This allows us to easily visit the products to verify the texts or images we have created. We work in teams but also need to be able to work independently.

You who apply for this position wish to gradually develop into a role as a Team Leader or Product Owner for the documentation team.

Your Profile

For the position of Technical Writer, we are looking for you who have/is:

• A degree as a Technical Information Officer, Writer, Illustrator, Engineer, in Cognitive Science or Pedagogy, or equivalent education as assessed by the employer.
• Experience in a relevant profession.
• Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS) and illustration tools.
• Very good proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Good collaboration skills.
• Strong communicative and social skills.
