We are currently seeking a Program Quality Manager (PQM) for a consultancy assignment with our client in the defense industry. The assignment involves strengthening the client's quality function within an ongoing program and contributing to ensuring and further developing quality performance in the operations.

About the assignment As Program Quality Manager, you will play a central role in quality work and serve as the contact person for quality-related matters with customers, suppliers, and other partners. You will work both operationally and strategically to plan, implement, and follow up on quality activities.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading and developing quality work within the business through analysis, follow-up, and improvement initiatives.
• Ensuring that requirements are met throughout the organization.
• Participating in customer and certification audits.
• Driving work on corrective actions, root cause analyses, and preventive measures.
• Collaborating closely with internal functions and external parties such as customers and suppliers.
• The role requires you to actively challenge existing ways of working and contribute to continuous improvements and the development of processes and routines.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in one or more of the following areas: quality management, problem solving, project management, or production technology.
• Experience with quality work and improvement initiatives.
• Strong communication skills and experience working with multiple stakeholders.
• Fluent English in both speech and writing.

Merits

• Experience with problem-solving methods, e.g., Six Sigma.
• Work with management systems and quality audits.
• Experience from the aerospace and defense industry and knowledge of AS/EN9100.
• Experience working in an international environment.
• Experience in leadership or project management.
• Experience with serial production.
