Your future challenge

Your responsibilities will include, among other things:

• Programming of controlled machining machines, lathes, and milling machines.
• Work with efficiency and continuous improvements at the article level to minimize, for example, setup and operation times.
• Optimize fixturing and running methods.
• Participate in machine and equipment investments.
• Optimize working methods and workplace environment at the machine address.
• Handle and follow up on quality issues.
• Handle and follow up on quality documentation.
• Identify quality problems in processes and products.
• Work with root cause analysis and continuous improvement.
• Follow up on prototype manufacturing.
• Assist with measurements related to quality in the operations.
• Support the rest of the company with expertise in daily operational work and projects.
• Adhere to the company's quality processes, methods, and execution.

The production technology department is part of a section within BAE called Prototype and Hull. Within our section, we build the chassis that become finished vehicles and handle all processes with high-tech machinery from cutting to painting in-house.

You will work together with a group of approximately 3 people with competencies in machining.

Reporting is done to the Production Technology Manager.

Who you are

We are looking for you who have a technical university education, a production technology vocational education, or have acquired this knowledge through experience. We require that you have practical experience in cutting machining. Production experience is desirable.

Previous experience with the ERP system SAP and Excel is positive. As we are an international corporation, you need to have good knowledge of English.

The work places high demands on good communication skills and an interest in collaboration.
