Kraftsam is now looking for an experienced production planner / sub-project manager for a long-term consultancy assignment with the Swedish Transport Administration (Trafikverket) in Sundsvall. The assignment involves phase and production planning for earthworks and civil engineering in the project Dual-tracking Dingersjö–Sundsvall.

The work location is Sundsvall, and the assignment requires physical presence at the Swedish Transport Administration's project office at least 75 % of the time.

About the assignment

The assignment is part of the Program OKB Dual-tracking Sundsvall–Dingersjö, which covers two railway projects: OKB Dual-tracking Dingersjö–Kubikenborg and Sundsvall Accessibility and Travel Centre. The project involves the expansion of just over 10 kilometers of double-track railway and includes all technical areas within railway construction, including bridges, major rock excavations, platform measures, and the introduction of ERTMS.

As a production planner, you will work with production and phase planning for earthworks and civil engineering works within both road and railway. The role is central to coordinating production, track times, train-free periods, mass handling, and planning between different sub-projects.

The assignment is a full-time consultancy role, where the resource consultant must be available at least 90 %.

Responsibilities

In the role, you will among other things:

  • produce and phase plan construction within road and railway in the project Dual-tracking Dingersjö–Kubikenborg
  • coordinate production and phase planning with Sundsvall Accessibility and Travel Centre
  • plan and coordinate train-free periods and train stops
  • ensure that track times are used efficiently and that disruptions to train traffic are minimized
  • supervise mass handling and plan so that masses between sub-projects can be utilized optimally
  • participate in scheduling and planning of track times
  • participate in the review and evaluation of tender documents and technical solutions
  • review construction documents and technical descriptions for earthworks and civil engineering works
  • supervise that cost-effective and time-optimal solutions are chosen
  • monitor that design assignments are coordinated, especially where projects border each other
  • keep a diary of important events
  • work in the field to check, plan, and follow up on the work.

Requirements

To be considered for the assignment, you must meet the following requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience as a project manager, construction manager, site manager, or foreman from production within earthworks and civil engineering in railway projects.
  • The experience must be verifiable with a reference from assignments carried out during the last 10 years, with a contract value of at least 200 M SEK.
  • At least 2 years of experience as a project manager, construction manager, site manager, or foreman from production within road projects.
  • The experience from road projects must be verifiable with a reference from assignments carried out during the last 10 years, with a contract value of at least 50 M SEK.
  • Good ability to assess and calculate costs for earthworks and civil engineering works.
  • Completed BAS-ÄSKYDD no later than at the start of the assignment.
  • Experience of having participated in design for earthworks and civil engineering works within road or railway in an assignment of at least 30 M SEK. The reference must be from an assignment carried out during the last 10 years.
  • Experience of qualified review of designed documents for earthworks and civil engineering works within road and railway in an assignment of at least 30 M SEK.

Other requirements / merit-based competencies

It is also important that you have experience of:

  • production planning in larger infrastructure projects
  • phase planning within road and railway
  • planning of track times, train stops, and train-free periods
  • coordination between several sub-projects and technical areas
  • mass handling in larger earthworks and civil engineering projects
  • review of construction documents, technical descriptions, and tender documents
  • cost assessments and production optimizations
  • field work and close to production.

For work within road and track, the Swedish Transport Administration's safety and security regulations also apply. Personnel must have competence according to TDOK 2018:0371 for work on the road, and for work in the track area, this includes among other things TDOK 2016:0289 and necessary competencies according to TDOK 2014:0230.

  • meticulous with follow-up, documentation, and diary keeping.

About the employment

You will be employed by Kraftsam and work as a consultant on assignment with the Swedish Transport Administration. The assignment is long-term and located in Sundsvall. The Swedish Transport Administration provides a computer and workspace at the office in Sundsvall, but the consultant must provide their own suitable vehicle for the assignment.

The contract is valid from when it enters into force until 2032-12-30, with the possibility of extension for an additional 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 years.

The assignment should start as soon as possible, but no later than 2026-09-01, provided that the contract has entered into force.

Working hours are normally scheduled between 07:00 and 18:00, with a 40-hour work week.
