Musikgrundskolan Synkopen is a school for approximately 200 students with an interest in music. Music provides a positive learning climate, greater job satisfaction, and creates a sense of community among students of different ages. Slottsvångsskolan is a historic F-9 school (grades 0-9) in the heart of Helsingborg. At our school, the approx. 250 students are at the center in every sense, and our work is based on the key concepts of Knowledge, Care, and Language.

We are now looking for a Cultural Pedagogue/Cultural Developer.
Do you want to help develop future culture-integrated teaching?
We are looking for an engaged and creative cultural pedagogue/cultural developer who, together with the school leadership, lead teachers, and work teams, wants to develop a long-term approach where culture becomes a natural part of teaching, with the goal of strengthening students' motivation, participation, and goal achievement.
We want to create a school where music, singing, dance, drama, art, and the city's cultural life are used as tools for learning, language and knowledge development, and to increase hope for the future among our students.
About the role
In this role, you will work closely with the school's lead teachers and work teams to develop methodology and teaching methods where culture is integrated into various subjects and contexts. The role involves both inspiring and translating ideas into concrete teaching and sustainable working methods.
You will, among other things:
- develop culture-integrated working methods together with educators
- contribute to increased goal achievement through creative and aesthetic learning processes
- create projects and teaching plans linked to the school's curriculum and systematic quality work.
- collaborate with the city's cultural offerings, cultural school, associations, and external actors
- strengthen students' language and expressive abilities and participation through culture
- inspire staff and contribute to collegial learning
- be involved in building the schools' future cultural profile
We are looking for you who:
- have experience working with culture, pedagogy, or creative learning processes
- have the ability to collaborate and build relationships
- are proactive, structured, and solution-focused
- see culture as a path to learning and inclusion
- have experience in music, dance, drama, art, and other aesthetic activities.
- preferably have experience working in schools or with children and young people.
It is an advantage if you:
- have worked with language and knowledge-developing methods
- have experience in project management and school development
- have networks within the cultural sector and business life
