We are looking for course leaders for our preschool activities at the association Aktiv Ungdom Malmö for the autumn term of 2026.

The position involves teaching duties of approximately 2–4 hours per week. This is a hourly employment for work on weekday evenings and/or Saturdays during a 10–12 week period, with a break for the autumn holiday. The assignment covers the autumn of 2026, approximately August/September to December. The positions are located in various venues around Malmö, including Limhamn, Hyllie, and Kirseberg.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is passionate about dance, loves dancing, and enjoys spreading joy in a group setting.
• Has a good understanding of dance basics and wants to teach and share your knowledge with others.
• Is a social person who fosters community and safety for all children, young people, and their parents/guardians.
• Enjoys development, both personally and in your students.
• Is self-reliant, as you are solely responsible for your dance class, including opening/closing and arming the premises, taking attendance, etc.

We are primarily seeking dance leaders for our activities with younger children, aged approximately 2–3 years up to 8 years, with a focus on children's dance, dance play, and children's rhythmics. Experience in various dance styles is a plus. We are also looking for leaders for our family dance sessions where adults and children dance together. You will usually work with an assistant leader or another instructor.

Experience working with children of different age groups is desirable. Some form of dance education is preferred but not required. We are open to applicants with diverse backgrounds in dance, rhythmics, and working with young children.

About the association Aktiv Ungdom Malmö

We are a children's and youth association that runs a community-driven Cultural School for children and young people (approx. 2–19 years) on weekday evenings and weekends. We offer training in dance, theater, musical, and art. We have several activity locations in Malmö, including Kirseberg, Limhamn, and Malmö City. Our ideology and working method are based on methodological work with age divisions and a strong focus on social interaction within the group. We naturally value the development of both the group and each individual student, but without an elitist mindset. We also host numerous workshops, holiday activities, and events throughout the year.
