Your responsibilities

Teaching mathematics and physics on the Technology and Natural Science programs. You will be part of a team of dedicated and knowledgeable colleagues. Together with the rest of the team, you are expected to develop working methods, attitudes, and broaden your pedagogical toolkit to meet all students based on their prerequisites and give them the opportunity to reach as far as possible.

VBU focuses on good relationships and a positive school culture where mentorship is an important part of the assignment. We have a well-functioning student health team.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher and qualified for upper secondary school in biology and at least one additional subject. You have good and deep subject knowledge and a broad pedagogical toolkit. You have several years of experience in teaching and mentorship. We are looking for you who see joy in adapting your teaching to students' different needs and prerequisites. Furthermore, you have good digital competence and experience working in various digital platforms. A prerequisite for thriving with us is that you, just like us, believe that it is possible to create one of Sweden's best schools and workplaces through high quality, participation, security, cooperation, clarity, and respect.

We are looking for you who are:

• Skilled in teaching and have good classroom management.
• Receptive and have a genuine interest in the people you meet.
• Driven by supporting and helping the individual to grow and develop.
• Structured and well-planned in your teaching.
• Cooperative and non-hierarchical! You need to be ready to develop yourself together with others.

About the terms of employment

The position is a permanent full-time employment with holiday pay, starting from August 2026. In some cases, we apply for a probationary period of up to 6 months and require a certificate of good conduct upon employment.
