To Drottning Blankas Gymnasieskola Malmö, we are now looking for an engaged Mentor. We have worked with full-time mentors since 2016 and have a clear structure for the role. The position involves responsibility for a larger number of upper secondary students. You will work, among other things, with parent contact, conduct development talks, be involved in student health issues concerning your students, lead mentor lessons, and, together with all school staff, be responsible for the student's school situation and learning. The role also includes substitute teaching in case of teacher illness.

Your background

We are looking for you who have relevant education (preferably with a pedagogical foundation) and who are passionate about supporting students in their school journey – socially but primarily in their learning. As a mentor, you are attentive, communicative, and have the ability to create a positive and supportive environment around the student. You value good relationships and collaboration with teachers, student health services, and guardians. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

We also believe that you:

• Are good at motivating and supporting positive learning for the student.
• Are a stable and secure person, with the ability to work independently and together with others to achieve high results.
• Have experience working with young people in upper secondary education.

Insight into the regulations of upper secondary school and student health work is very important. You need to have good digital skills.
