💼 About the assignment

We are looking for an engaged team leader who, during the summer, will lead and support young people working with summer jobs to renovate outdoor areas in residential areas in Upplands Väsby. The young people work in teams to generally improve the atmosphere in the area through various practical tasks such as painting, weeding, clearing overgrowth, and picking up litter.

You will lead 4 young people at a time, and your role is to be present, create structure, and be a positive role model.

Your responsibilities include:

• Planning and leading the daily work for the group
• Creating a safe and inclusive work environment
• Supporting the young people individually and in groups
• Taking attendance, keeping in touch with the operations manager, and reporting on the work

🌟 We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience working with young people, preferably as a leader, coach, or educator
• Is responsible, secure, and inspiring
• Has a solution-focused attitude and enjoys motivating others
• Enjoys working outdoors and taking on practical tasks
• Is good at building relationships and adapting your leadership style to the group

Merits:

• Previous experience with park maintenance, gardening, or practical work
• Category B driver's license (but not a requirement)

🕒 Scope

The assignment lasts for 9 weeks, weeks 25-33, approximately 6 hours per day. The assignment also includes approximately 2-3 hours of preparation and training at the beginning of June.

You work Monday-Friday, except for Midsummer when you are off.

Employment: You are employed as a consultant by us and work for an external provider during the assignment.

You have support from us and representatives from the property company who are available throughout the period.
