About the role and your responsibilities

As a primary school teacher for leisure-time centers (fritidshem), you work pedagogically and socially based on the organization's goals and guidelines. You plan, implement, and follow up on teaching in accordance with current regulatory documents and actively work to develop the leisure-time center activities. Together with your team, you are responsible for creating a safe environment for the students, both during school hours and at the leisure-time center.

At Lerbäckskolan F-3, we are now looking for an engaged primary school teacher for leisure-time centers, responsible for the students' development before, after, and during the school day. The role involves working towards good pedagogical activities and driving the pedagogical work forward. The goal of our leisure-time centers is to provide our students with good conditions to develop versatile skills, while adopting the child's perspective and ensuring opportunities for student participation and the experience of a meaningful leisure time. At Lerbäckskolan, we work together—primary school teachers for leisure-time centers, primary school teachers, and other staff—in accordance with regulatory documents for school and leisure-time centers. Together with your colleagues, you contribute to an accessible and positive learning and working environment at Lerbäckskolan.

We are looking for you

We are looking for you who are a certified primary school teacher for leisure-time centers, or alternatively have a degree in leisure-time pedagogy or a teaching degree for leisure-time pedagogical activities. Previous experience in the profession is meritorious. You should be able to translate modern pedagogical theory into practical work and be well-versed in the regulatory documents for schools and leisure-time centers.

Together with your colleagues, you create a good work climate through a professional approach and good collaboration skills. We assume that you have a positive view of students and always prioritize the activity and the student. You care about creating good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. You can organize your work, are secure, and solution-focused.

In your work, you must be able to document and express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing. You need to be familiar with various digital systems or have an aptitude for learning new ones.

About the workplace

Lerbäckskolan is a calm and secure school with 3 parallel classes from grades F-9. The lower primary school has its own large, bright premises, and leisure-time activities are available on both floors. Our students are given the opportunity to develop as far as possible based on their experiences and abilities. All education is based on regulatory documents and builds on research and proven experience.

Through collegial learning, we develop the profession within both leisure-time centers and schools. We organize our operations to enable common meeting times for planning and evaluating leisure-time activities, collaboration during school hours, and collegial learning related to the leisure-time center's quality work, which focuses on increased student influence, responsibility, and participation.
