About the Position

As a piano teacher with us, you will meet students of different ages, levels, and musical interests. You will inspire both beginners and more advanced students, helping them develop based on their own goals.

The position includes:

• Individual piano lessons.
• Teaching in accompaniment, ensemble playing, and practical piano.
• Participation in concerts, performances, and other outward-facing activities.
• Collaboration with colleagues in projects and arrangements.
• Recruitment of new students and development of the operations.
• Planning and administrative tasks related to teaching.

Who Are We Looking For?

We are looking for you who are a confident and inspiring educator with a passion for music and teaching.

To thrive with us, we believe you are engaged, creative, collaborative, and solution-oriented, and that you enjoy working with others, can create engagement and teaching that meets students where they are, contribute ideas, dare to think new – always with the students' development and joy of music in focus.

In addition, you have

• Experience in piano teaching.
• Good competence in accompaniment.
• Music pedagogical education with piano as the main subject, or equivalent experience/competence.
• Broad musical competence – from classical to pop music.

You communicate well in Swedish, both orally and in writing.

It is meritorious if you also have

• Work experience from a music or culture school.
• Knowledge in playing other instruments.
• Experience in arrangement.
• Experience in ensemble or orchestra leadership.
• Interest in operational development and new teaching methods.
