Job Responsibilities

You will teach subjects related to Community Building and Environment, which is one of our four specializations on the Technology Programme. Subjects that may be relevant include technology, architecture, construction works, sustainable community building, technology specialization, image and visualization, and possibly construction. You create and maintain good contacts outside the school. Study visits and other relevant meetings with actors outside the school are natural elements of your teaching.

You will work in one of two work teams on the Technology Programme, where you collaborate with different subject colleagues with the aim of weaving together a unified education for the students. Other tasks that may be included are mentorship and supervision of upper secondary projects, etc.

Qualifications

We are primarily looking for you who are a qualified teacher for teaching in the technical subjects as described above. You have likely worked many years in the industry and can share your experience with our students. Teacher certification for your subjects is highly meritorious.

You have a strong student focus, which is evident in how you meet individuals and groups. You know that the relationship in the collaboration with the student is important to achieve a good overall situation with both studies and life outside school. You become part of the school's whole and collaborate without hierarchy with the school's student health team, teachers, and other staff to continuously develop our fine operations together.

Your teaching is based on modern didactics where the perspective is to optimize students' learning and goal achievement. A focus is feedback so that our students can get as far as possible with their education. Naturally, you are passionate about giving all students the best conditions to learn as much as possible.

At the school, we are actively working on a joint development effort starting spring semester 2026 to strengthen teaching quality in all our classrooms. You must be able to adapt the teaching based on the students' prerequisites and involve the student in your planning.

You work with a student-oriented and relational approach. You are secure and stable in your professional role and communicate in a clear and solution-focused manner.
