We are looking for swimming instructors for our school swimming program at Simhallsbadet.

Malmö Kappsimningsklubb, on behalf of the Leisure Administration of Malmö Municipality, conducts swimming lessons for school students in grades 2–9. The lessons are organized in three-week periods, Monday through Friday. Working hours are 08:15–14:00 (possibly until 14:45). You will work in a team of four swimming instructors.

During the autumn, we are in need of 4 swimming instructors for weeks 35–50.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent and be swimming proficient. Experience working with children and young people, such as in the school system or within associations, is advantageous. Experience or interest in working with children with special needs is viewed positively.

We prefer that you are a certified swimming instructor, but the most important factor is that you are the right person for the job.

You must have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both written and spoken.

To thrive in our team, you should be someone who gains energy from teaching and spreading joy to both participants and colleagues. As you will be the face of the school swimming program and may encounter various situations, you must have the ability to handle people and always act as a good ambassador. You are positive, communicative, receptive, and comfortable working at a fast pace.

Swimming proficiency is a requirement for all employees at Malmö Kappsimningsklubb. Therefore, a swimming test will be conducted during the interview. The emphasis is not on how well the swimming is performed, but rather on experience and personal suitability.

Since employees at Malmö Kappsimningsklubb come into contact with children and young people, a certificate from the Swedish Police Authority (extract from the criminal record) will need to be presented if employment becomes relevant.
