About the role

As a Readiness Coordinator, you have an overall, coordinating, and developmental responsibility for Statkraft Sweden's crisis and readiness work. The role covers both strategic and operational work and involves ensuring that Statkraft's readiness capabilities are appropriate, up-to-date, and aligned with internal requirements, legislation, and external expectations.

You are Statkraft Sweden's primary contact and representative in external contexts related to crisis and readiness issues and play a central role in collaboration with authorities, industry players, and other relevant stakeholders. Internally, you act as expert support to the line operations and contribute to strengthening the safety and readiness culture in the organization.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Overall responsibility for crisis and readiness issues within Statkraft Sweden, including work related to electricity readiness, total defense, and critical infrastructure
  • Ensure that crisis and readiness plans exist, are updated, maintain the right quality, and align with both internal and external requirements
  • Develop and manage the annual plan for crisis and readiness work within Statkraft Sweden
  • Plan, coordinate, and conduct crisis and readiness exercises, and ensure follow-up and learning
  • Coordinate and quality-assure the annual audit and follow-up process within the area of responsibility
  • Implement group-wide guidelines, standards, and requirements, and adapt them to national conditions
  • Initiate and drive improvement work to strengthen working methods, structure, and safety culture
  • Support operations with advice and expert knowledge within the field of readiness and crisis management
  • Collaborate and communicate with authorities, industry organizations, and external partners
  • Participate in relevant internal projects and support other Statkraft companies in Sweden

Requirements

We are looking for you who have the competence and maturity required to shoulder a trusted and responsible assignment in a socially vital operation.

Qualifications:

  • University education in crisis and readiness or equivalent competence acquired through experience
  • Several years (at least 3–5 years) of relevant experience working with crisis and readiness issues
  • Good knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations in the area, such as electricity readiness and security protection
  • Very good ability to express yourself in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing
  • Experience from energy, industrial, or other plant-intensive operations
  • Knowledge of total defense issues and collaboration with authorities
  • Experience with readiness exercises and crisis management in larger organizations
  • Experience working in roles with both strategic responsibility and operational execution

Location: Sollefteå primarily, alternatively another Statkraft location in Sweden for the right candidate (e.g., Stockholm, Laholm, Östersund, Örnsköldsvik, etc.)
