Sundsgymnasiet is Vellinge Municipality's upper secondary school with approximately 950 students distributed across five university-preparatory programs and introductory programs. RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for an upper secondary school teacher for instruction in Swedish and English. The position is a fixed-term employment of 70-85% starting on August 10, 2026.

As a teacher at Sundsgymnasiet, you will become part of the school's whole and collaborate with students, guardians, teachers, school management, and other school staff. You will be part of a work team and the subject team in Swedish and English.

The subject team works together with, for example, national tests, joint assessment, and various course projects. The team spirit and sharing culture are strong, so it is important that you enjoy working with and close to your colleagues. In addition, like other teachers at the school, you have tasks that include, among other things, upper secondary thesis work, mentoring, and other usual tasks related to the teaching profession.

In the work team, the teaching is planned, implemented, and evaluated to a large extent jointly. You will be involved in developing the operations and be responsible for high goal achievement and good quality.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are skilled at teaching and are a certified upper secondary school teacher in Swedish and English. You should be well familiar with the curriculum and regulatory documents for upper secondary school. You should be able to adapt the teaching based on the students' prerequisites and make the student involved in your planning, as well as use digital aids as a natural tool to develop students' learning. You are creative and flexible, as well as secure and stable in your professional role and communicate clearly. You want to work together with colleagues in work and subject teams in a solution-focused way. You are interested in environmental monitoring and contribute to and understand your role in the entire school's development. You are also interested in and have good knowledge of research and proven experience in the areas of methodology and pedagogy, and maintain a high level of digital teaching.
