The Role

We are looking for a Business Manager for Linköping who wants to help shape something truly fine and new. Not maintaining a legacy – but laying the foundation for one.

You will step into the leadership of the DevDesign business area – electrical design, mechanics, and product development – with all that entails: freedom, responsibility, and an organization built for movement rather than hierarchy. There are no thick manuals here on how things should be done, but rather a clear direction, clear goals, and a clear value system that guides you right.

You own three things: your consultants, your customers, and your culture. You shape the rest yourself.

What you actually do

• You recruit, onboard, and develop consultants within electrical design, mechanics, and product development – building a team you are genuinely proud of.
• You own the entire employee journey: from the recruitment process to individual development plans, coaching, and that dinner when something worth celebrating has happened.
• You build lasting customer relationships – and create new business with the balance between customer satisfaction, profitability, and the consultants' drive as your compass.
• You sit on the local leadership group and help set the direction for Östergötland while also contributing to the bigger picture.
• You are the culture bearer who ensures that pride and energy grow just as fast as the business.

You are probably this person

You have a few years of experience as a consulting manager, business developer, or in a similar role within product development. You know how to read a business situation and you have a network to open doors with – but what really drives you is something more fundamental: you genuinely like people.

You build relationships that last – with customers who trust you and consultants who know you have their back. Not because it's in your job description, but because trust is what you are interested in building long-term. You are just as comfortable in a deep 1:1 with a consultant thinking about their career as you are in a strategic customer meeting where the deal needs to be closed.

You are driven and goal-oriented – but not in the way that takes shortcuts. You challenge yourself, maintain high business ethics and morals, and always put the team before your own agenda. "Prestige-free" is not a word you need to explain to yourself – it's just who you are.
