Resource Pedagogue with Experience in Adapted Support for NPD

About the School

Kyrkbacksskolan is a preschool to grade 9 school where safety, structure, and individual adaptation are central parts of our operations. We actively work to create an environment where all students are given the opportunity to develop based on their own prerequisites.

About the Position

We are now looking for an engaged and confident resource pedagogue to work with students within the autism spectrum. You will work closely with one or more students who need support to participate meaningfully in lessons and the school day.

The work involves, among other things:

  • Providing support during lessons and breaks.
  • Working with clarifying pedagogy and structure.
  • Promoting students' social and emotional development.
  • Collaborating with teachers, student health services, and guardians.
  • Contributing to creating a predictable, safe, and accessible learning environment.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has education in child and youth activities, pedagogy, or other relevant education.
  • Has experience working with children/students with autism or other neuropsychiatric functional variations.
  • Is calm, receptive, and able to create structure and clarity.
  • Is flexible, responsible, and works well in a team.
  • Has good communicative skills in speech and writing.

Merits:

  • Knowledge and experience regarding low-affective handling.
  • Experience with clarifying pedagogy.
  • Experience from primary school or adapted primary school.
