Description

Morkarlbyhöjden is a secondary school (grades 7–9) located in central Mora, close to outdoor recreation areas. The school has approximately 320 students and 40 staff members. The school is organized into grade-specific work teams and includes study counselors as well as two smaller support groups for students in need of assistance. Morkarlbyhöjden is a developing school that aims to create a clear structure with relational leadership at its core.

We are looking for a teacher in physics/technology and mathematics for grades 6–9.

Qualifications

You must hold a teacher’s degree for the later years of compulsory school, with a specialization in physics/technology and mathematics.

We are looking for someone who places the student’s development and well-being at the center and wants to contribute to creating an inspiring learning environment. You are comfortable with responsibility and independent work. You easily build trusting relationships and collaborate effectively with students and guardians. You value good cooperation between colleagues, the student health team, and school management.

As a teacher, you demonstrate clear pedagogical leadership in your teaching and have the ability to adapt instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
