Svalöv Upper Secondary School and Adult Education, located in shared premises, has approximately 800 students. The upper secondary school offers four national vocational programs: the Construction and Civil Engineering Program, the Electrical and Energy Program, the Vehicle and Transport Program, and the Natural Resources Program. There are also four introductory programs and three programs at the adapted upper secondary school. Approximately 110 upper secondary students live in our student housing during the week.

RESPONSIBILITIES
We are looking for you who currently work as a vocational teacher, or who find it exciting to help train the carpenters of the future. We are currently seeking a teacher for the newly established Construction and Civil Engineering Program with a focus on house construction, which we run as an apprenticeship program.
You will work both independently and together with other teachers in teaching teams. The assignment includes teaching vocational courses on the program, both theoretically and practically, as well as supervising students and documenting their study results. Since the education in year 2 and 3 is conducted as an apprenticeship, where at least half the time is placed at an APL (Work-Integrated Learning) site, a large part of your time will be spent creating contacts with the industry, finding APL placements, and visiting students at their internship sites to assess their knowledge together with the supervisors.
QUALIFICATIONS
You who apply have:
- Documented experience from the construction and civil engineering industry, within woodwork/house construction.
- Good knowledge of current industry regulations, occupational health and safety, and safety instructions.
- Ability to create a safe and motivating learning environment where students develop both professionally and personally.
- Pedagogical ability to adapt teaching to students' different needs and prerequisites.
- At least a B driving license.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
It is meritorious if you:
- Are a certified vocational teacher.
- Have experience with the upper secondary school's apprenticeship education.
- Have supervisor training and experience with APL (Work-Integrated Learning).
- Have a broad network within the industry.
