To meet the significantly increased demand for electricity and to ensure operational security, extensive renewals of the power grid are planned throughout Sweden. This is a prerequisite for electrification, the green transition, and for Sweden to continue developing in a positive direction. Effective and adapted communication with those affected by the grid expansion is one of the key factors for successful project progress.

The assignment involves supporting the grid expansion with communication expertise in programs and projects. The consultant will be part of the unit within the communications department that focuses on regional dialogues and communication regarding grid expansion. The communicators in the unit share common working methods and collaborate to ensure communication that contributes to project progress while also strengthening the company's brand.

Responsibilities:

• Write communication plans and participate in the planning and implementation of communication activities

• Plan and execute events targeted at specific audiences

• Provide communication support to the project's spokespersons

• Ensure that communication follows the established messages for the grid expansion

• Produce text material, images, and simple videos

• Handle web publications on the website and intranet using Optimizely

• Create products in InDesign

Requirements for the position:

• At least 3 years of experience in the last 5 years working with public communication

• At least 4 years of experience independently driving, planning, and executing audience-adapted communication and contact-building communication activities.

• At least 1 year of experience in the last three years of operationally working with communication for grid expansion projects with the affected public as the target audience.

• Fluent in spoken and written Swedish and English
