About the School

Practical Gymnasium Malmö City offers students a concept where theory is interspersed with practical exercises both at the school and at workplaces. At Practical, we hold ourselves to high standards to create the best conditions for a educational and fun education. Our teaching is characterized by flexibility, proximity, and practical learning. Our program offerings include Children and Leisure, Care and Nursing, Plumbing and Property, Industrial Technology, and Sales and Service. Currently, the school has approximately 280 students and about 30 employees.

The school is located on Industrigatan in Malmö, an expanding area.

Your Role

The position is a permanent employment with 100% hours, starting as agreed. As an English teacher at Practical Gymnasium, you are an important part of our pedagogical work and collaborate closely with teachers, students, and student health services. Your role includes, among other things, teaching students in the classroom, as well as supporting students with special needs and developing adapted teaching methods to create an inclusive and accessible learning environment.

You will systematically monitor student development and work both proactively and strategically with teaching.

We use digital tools to monitor student development and ensure good communication between all parties. You will work with systems such as StudyBee, SchoolSoft, and in a Google environment to document and follow up on students' learning and development.

Your Profile

We are looking for you who are a qualified English teacher and have experience working with students in need of special support. You are flexible and solution-oriented and have an easy time collaborating with different professional groups. You have good knowledge and experience of digital tools, especially StudyBee, SchoolSoft, and work in a Google environment. Experience is meritorious.
