The Department of Health Sciences at the Faculty of Medicine provides high-quality education in nursing at both undergraduate and advanced levels. We are now looking for an engaged specialist nurse for a position as a University Lecturer in Nursing. The position is part-time, with a desired start date of August 10th or as agreed. The appointment is a fixed-term contract (vacation replacement) for 40% over approximately one year.

Responsibilities

The duties consist of teaching responsibilities such as course coordination, examination, teaching, preclinical skills training, and supervision within the aforementioned programs. Teaching in other educational programs within the Faculty of Medicine may also occur, as well as other duties.

Qualifications

Requirements for the position include:

• Swedish nursing license
• Specialist degree in nursing with a focus on district nursing (primary care)
• Ph.D. in a relevant field
• Experience as a university or college teacher
• Good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written

Personal qualities will be given great weight. Since the work involves collaboration with other teachers, administrative staff, and students, you must have strong collaborative skills, as well as the ability to independently plan and execute your work.

Meritorious qualifications:

• Current experience in school health services

Eligibility

To be eligible for appointment as a University Lecturer, one must have completed an advanced degree (or equivalent) and possess other competencies significant to the subject and duties of the position, demonstrated pedagogical skill (understood as good pedagogical ability), and completed university-level pedagogical education or acquired equivalent knowledge of at least five weeks.
