About the position

As a teacher at Lanternan Resource School, you work during daytime hours to teach students in need of special support. In the role of an MA/NO teacher, your main responsibilities will include:

• Planning and evaluation, together with a colleague, as well as teaching primary school students in need of special support in Mathematics (MA), Natural Sciences (NO), and Swedish as a Second Language (TK).
• Some reporting and documentation in IT support systems.
• Collaboration with other members of the work group and the Educational Psychologist (EHT) in special student cases.
• Good to know: Holiday service applies via Almega's independent school agreement.

Formally, you are expected to plan, conduct, and evaluate high-quality teaching for our students.

For this position, you must:

• Hold a teaching license with a focus on Mathematics (MA) and/or Natural Sciences (NO).
• Have a valid driver's license (Category B).
• Have experience working as a teacher in the Swedish primary school system.

The following would be meritorious:

• Previous experience in a role focused on NPD (Neurodevelopmental Disorders) issues and/or students in need of special support.
