We are now looking for an experienced and confident Controller for a temporary assignment to ensure the right competence within the finance function during an ongoing recruitment process. Are you the one we are looking for? We welcome your application!

This is a role for you who can quickly get up to speed with the business, create structure and security, and drive the ongoing financial work forward in close collaboration with the CEO, management, and board. The assignment involves strategic responsibility for business planning, financial control, and analysis based on the company's strategy and vision.

As a Controller, you are responsible for maintaining and further developing the finance function during the vacancy period. The role includes both operational and strategic tasks, with a focus on ensuring quality in financial reporting, follow-up, and business support. You will join a business-oriented and entrepreneurial environment where being self-reliant, solution-oriented, and confident in taking responsibility from day one is highly valued!

The assignment starts as soon as possible and is expected to last up to six months.

Responsibilities

  • Responsibility for monthly and annual financial statements
  • Contact and follow-up with auditors
  • Invoicing and responsibility for accounts receivable, as well as contact with Svea Ekonomi
  • Reporting in Cognos to the group
  • Preparing decision support materials and support for responsible managers
  • Preparing materials for the board and participating in board meetings
  • Identifying areas for improvement and supporting the business in ongoing development work

  • Have experience from leading finance roles with overall responsibility and reporting to the CEO and board
  • Are confident, self-reliant, and forward-looking
  • Have a good understanding of privately owned and entrepreneurial companies
  • Have strong competence in accounting, financial management, and financial follow-up
  • Have good communication skills and a non-hierarchical working style
  • Thrive in a business-oriented environment and build trust within the organization
  • Work in a structured and meticulous manner while maintaining a strategic perspective
  • Have a strong commercial focus and good analytical skills

Experience from the hospitality industry or similar operations, as well as an interest in HR matters, is meritorious.
