As electricity demand rises sharply and the energy system undergoes rapid transformation, technical solutions alone are not enough – we also need communication that fosters understanding, dialogue, and momentum in complex projects affecting many people.
We are currently looking for an experienced communicator for a role within one of Sweden's most critical societal functions. The assignment focuses on enabling one of the most crucial aspects of the green transition: developing and expanding the future electricity grid across the country.
You will become part of a communication team working closely with programs and projects related to grid expansion. The focus is on regional dialogue and communication with those affected by new power lines and infrastructure.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing communication plans and translating them into concrete activities
- Planning and executing events and dialogue initiatives for relevant target groups
- Supporting spokespeople in communication and message development
- Ensuring consistent messaging that adheres to established communication guidelines
- Producing texts, simple video content, and visual materials
- Publishing content on the web and intranet using Optimizely
- Creating materials using Adobe InDesign

Key Details
Assignment Scope: Full-time, 100%
Employment Type: Fixed-term consultancy position via JobBusters.
Work Model: Based at the office in Sundbyberg. Remote work is possible up to 50% of working hours.
Start Date: As agreed
End Date: 2027-08-31, with an option to extend the call-off agreement by 1+1 years, i.e., until 2029-08-31 at the latest.

Other Information: Security clearance and background check are required before the assignment starts. In your application: Ensure it clearly demonstrates that you meet the client's desired qualifications.
To succeed in this role, you need:
- At least 3 years of experience in the last 5 years working with public affairs/communications.
- At least 4 years of experience independently driving, planning, and executing target-group-specific communication and relationship-building activities.
- At least 1 year of experience in the last three years operating communication for grid expansion projects with the general public as the target audience.
- Fluency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
- Advantageous: Experience as a communications consultant.
- Advantageous: Experience working in the public sector (state/municipality).
- Advantageous: Project management experience.
