We are an F-9 school (grades 1-9) with modern Montessori pedagogy located in central Kristianstad.

We are looking for a new colleague for our middle school and upper secondary levels, where the relationship between students and staff is of great importance. There are approximately 432 students at the school.

We are now looking for you who have a strong commitment to developing modern Montessori pedagogy in the subject of music. At a Montessori Mondial school, the teacher is expected to have prepared the learning environment for the students or the student group the teacher is responsible for.

This entails:

• ensuring that the materials students need are in place.
• that the environment is appealing and clear, i.e., that there is order and tidiness.
• that the learning environment contains various opportunities for workstations.
• that the environment allows students to move around in the classroom without disturbing their peers.

As an educator, you should build clear and professional relationships with all your students, act as a leader in the classroom, and have high expectations for student learning.

We are now looking for you who are qualified to teach music at the middle and upper secondary levels. You need to be calm, systematic, clear, and low-affective in your interaction with students, and truly believe that they do the right thing when they can. You are well-versed in our governing documents, and student learning and the development of teaching are your primary and greatest focus in harmony with student well-being. Collaborating in work teams is a matter of course for us, and we make each other better.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher with the qualification to teach music.
