As CEO of ÅKAB, you will have a unique opportunity to help shape the municipality's future. Åmål Municipality strives to develop and become an even more attractive place for both businesses and residents. As CEO of ÅKAB and SÅAB, you report to the companies' boards and lead the companies' 45 employees through the management group consisting of the finance manager and three administrators with responsibility for business areas. As CEO, you are an important part of Åmål's municipal leadership. The CEO of ÅKAB is also the CEO of the fiber company Stadsnät i Åmål AB (SÅAB). The company is operationally an integrated part of ÅKAB.

The role includes, among other things:

• leading and developing operations in close collaboration with the board and the municipal group
• ensuring a functional property portfolio and planning for new production, maintenance, and renovations
• contributing to the municipality's housing supply and development through both economic and social initiatives
• further developing cooperation with municipal leadership, tenants, and business life
• responsible for economy, budget, procurement, and reporting to the board and municipal executive board
• leading and developing the municipality's urban network operations
• ensuring that the company complies with laws and regulations in the relevant area

Here, strategic work is combined with daily operational responsibility, and your ability to plan, prioritize, and collaborate becomes crucial.

Your Profile

We are looking for you who are a brave, communicative, and unpretentious leader with the ability to create engagement and involvement. You are driven by development, have an easy time building relationships, and see collaboration as the path to success.

We believe you have:

• Experience of good leadership and leading a management group, preferably in politically governed operations
• Good knowledge of public utility, property management, and investment projects
• Good understanding of economy, budget, public procurement, and board work
