Teacher for Music (and preferably German)
Burlöv is an exciting municipality in the growth region between Malmö and Lund. We have a close organizational culture that enables and emphasizes collaboration, innovation, and a sustainable working life. Together, we develop our operations and create value for our citizens.
Do you want to be part of building an attractive, accessible, sustainable, and safe Burlöv? Burlöv is an educational municipality where we create good conditions for the future with creativity and a passion for learning.
We collaborate closely with leading researchers in Sweden regarding teaching development in preschool, primary school, and adult education. We are bold and test new innovative ideas, such as VR in teaching. We consider movement in both new construction and the development of outdoor environments, and we offer movement analysis to our staff.
We carry out early interventions together with social services and have a joint mobile team to help students with problematic absenteeism. We genuinely follow up on goal fulfillment and act on our results. We work to become proficient in trust-based leadership and have close leadership with few employees per manager.
About the Role
We are looking for you who are interested in participating in and contributing to our successful work. The most important resources we have are our teachers and educators. Our results would not have been as good without our teamwork, shared vision, and belief that all our children and students will succeed. We invest heavily in you and your colleagues through well-founded training, systematic analyses, and active work on your working environment.
You believe in collaboration and in contributing collegially to both your own and your colleagues' development. You base your work on a scientific foundation and proven experience. You are convinced that all children and students can succeed and that you are a very important part of that. You recognize the importance of rich and broad teaching/operations and are stimulated by the detective work of finding methods for each child's learning.
Responsibilities
We are now looking for a positive and engaged teacher with qualifications to teach music, preferably in combination with German. The assignment consists of teaching students in music (Year 4), preferably in combination with German (Year 7). You need to be able to work with clear pedagogy and be accustomed to adapting and reworking teaching content based on the students you meet.
The assignment also includes responsibility for documenting students' knowledge development as well as contact with guardians, the student health team (EHT), and subject colleagues.
Using digital tools is a natural part of your work, and you strive to develop both your own and the students' digital competence in daily teaching.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who are a trained teacher with qualifications in music, preferably in combination with German. We are looking for you who are willing to invest wholeheartedly in the students and who are flexible and responsive in meetings with both students and guardians. You work solution-focused and have the ability to build trusting relationships with both colleagues and students and their guardians.
