ABOUT THE POSITION

We at Kura Omsorg are now looking for an engaged and reliable personal assistant for one of our clients in Vänersborg. The position is a permanent position of approximately 25 hours per week. Start date is by agreement, but we would like you to be able to start the introduction as soon as possible.

The working hours are scheduled on weekdays and weekends as follows:

• 08:00 - 16:00

• 16:00 - 21:00

ABOUT THE CLIENT

The client is a 15-year-old girl who lives in Vänersborg with her family. She does not speak but communicates through body language. She can walk on her own and uses a wheelchair when needed. Furthermore, she has a PEG tube (a form of tube feeding) and a high care need. She can sometimes be aggressive and has self-harming behaviors. The tasks involve helping her with daily routines such as personal hygiene, dressing/undressing, feeding, and medication.

ARE YOU THE ONE WE ARE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for you who can follow the client's routines and schedule. It is important that you are stress-resistant, firm, and able to set boundaries. You also need to be pedagogical, flexible, present, and responsible.

Our client prefers female applicants, and great importance is placed on personal suitability.

REQUIREMENTS

• Fluent knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

• Non-smoker

• Valid extract from the criminal record

• Previous experience with aggressive behaviors

QUALIFICATIONS

• Driver's license and access to a car

• Experience working with children with disabilities

• Experience with epilepsy, PEG, medication, and sign language support

• Trained nursing assistant, educator, or similar

• Experience with Positive Behavior Support (PBS)

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other compensations in accordance with the collective agreement.

From March 1, 2026, new regulations will apply, meaning that the register check will include both an extract from the criminal record and an extract from the suspicion register. The extract is ordered via the Police Authority's e-service. Note that processing times may vary, so it is advisable to order in good time.
