Why this job is for you You are driven by solving complex technical challenges and want to take overall responsibility in development projects. Here you won't just design – you are involved all the way from concept to finished machine, including responsibility for ensuring that solutions comply with current regulations.
You will become part of our in-house team where we develop products for our production customers. The role involves significant personal responsibility and the opportunity to influence both technical solutions and working methods. You collaborate closely with colleagues, customers, and suppliers, and play a central role in driving projects forward.
You belong to our business area Hardware & Design, where we combine broad engineering competence with specialist knowledge to develop products and production solutions – from idea to implementation in an industrial environment.
Responsibilities You work in cross-functional teams where collaboration is key, but with clear personal responsibility for your projects. The role is broad and involves both technical depth and coordination.
- Design and development of complex special machines
- Design work from idea to finished product
- Responsible for and driving the work regarding CE marking and machine safety
- Ensure that designs comply with current machinery regulations and standards
- Participate in concept development, requirement specification, and technical decision-making
- Work with supplier contacts, technical purchasing, and follow-up
- Be involved in installation, verification, and handover to the customer
Qualifications We are looking for someone who is confident in their competence and thrives in a role where you get to combine technology, responsibility, and collaboration. You enjoy breaking down these challenges together with the team to achieve the best solution. You are a person who enjoys sharing your knowledge while also being able to independently drive your own work forward. In addition to your personal qualities, you must have the following:
- Educational background in mechanical engineering
- At least five years of experience working as a mechanical designer
- Experience working with design and product development
- Good knowledge of CE marking, machinery directive/regulation, and risk assessment
- Experience in driving or managing CE marking processes
- Good skills in CAD
- Experience from the manufacturing industry is an advantage
- Fluent communication skills in Swedish and English

Practical information This is a permanent position with a six-month probation period, located at our office in Örnsköldsvik, Magasinallén 2E. Travel to our customers may occur as part of the role. Start date is as soon as possible or as agreed.
