Do you want to work with advanced technology in projects that contribute to security and safety – both nationally and internationally? We are now looking for a Test and Verification Manager at Saab-Dockstavarvet.

About the role

As a Test and Verification Manager (TVM), you play a key role in technically complex and safety-critical projects. You are responsible for planning, leading, and monitoring the test and verification work throughout the entire product lifecycle – from early development and bidding to verification prior to delivery, acceptance testing, and aftermarket support. You lead testing activities at the system, integration, and functional levels, ensuring that verification is performed against technical, operational, and marine requirements. The role involves close collaboration with design, systems engineers, project management, and customers.

Testing takes place both in laboratory environments and in operational marine environments, such as harbor and sea trials. Travel is required, both within Sweden and internationally. In addition to operational responsibilities, you have overall responsibility for working methods and processes within test and verification. You act as the process owner and drive the development of methods, tools, and structures to create an efficient and sustainable verification process.

Your profile

We are looking for you with a technical background and documented leadership experience, who thrives in complex environments where quality, structure, and responsibility are crucial.

You are solution-oriented, methodical, and have a good ability to collaborate. You make decisions even when conditions change and are confident in leading both technology and people. You have a good ability to communicate technical content, both internally and externally.

We would like you to have

• A technical university degree, for example in systems engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or mechatronics
• Experience working with complex, integrated systems
• Previous experience in a leadership role within a project or organization
• Good knowledge of requirements management and verification processes
• Very good proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Work experience from similar tasks as described

Merits

• Several years of experience in test and verification within the defense industry or other safety-critical operations
• Experience with military or defense-related standards
• Background in marine systems, sensor systems, or command and control systems
• Experience with verification related to safety, availability, and robustness
• Experience working in security-cleared projects
