We are now looking for a Demand Planner for our client, a global manufacturer of industrial components and technical installation solutions.
You will be welcomed into an organization with extensive international contacts and a working style where every person has clear individual responsibility in their role.
The role is a full-time consultancy position starting September 1st and initially until October 2027, due to parental leave. You will work as a consultant through us at The Place and be based at our client's office in Kista.
About the role
In this role, you work with the supply of a broad product range within the Nordic region. Your task is to ensure cost-effective supply with a high service level, where customer needs and expectations are met through well-functioning purchasing and logistics processes.
You belong to the Demand Planning department, which consists of four people including a team leader, and is part of a larger Operations organization with a total of approximately 20 employees.
Your main responsibilities:
- Analyze forecasts, inventory levels, and sales for future purchasing needs
- Work with the daily purchasing flow from order to delivery
- Work with inventory control and parameter setting against set KPIs such as inventory turnover and service level
- Ensure product data, prices, and product structures
- Overall responsibility for your own supplier base and article portfolio, driving the entire flow from purchase to delivery and follow-up

You are responsible and confident in building good relationships both within the company and with suppliers. In the role, you will work with analysis and data processing, which requires a high level of IT maturity and good business understanding. In your role, you have many contacts both internally and externally, so you need to have good communication skills and a flexible approach.
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role within inventory control, supply chain, or purchasing
- Experience with inventory control and system support related to the area of responsibility
- Analytical ability with good knowledge of MS Excel and handling of Master Data
- You speak and write fluently in both Swedish and English
- Post-secondary education in purchasing or logistics is an advantage
- Experience with Power BI is an advantage
More about the assignment
You will work as a consultant through us at The Place at our client's site in Kista. The assignment is full-time, Monday-Friday, starting September 1st and initially until October 2027, due to parental leave.
The role offers a flexible work model with the possibility to work from home two days a week. Standard working hours are 08:00–16:30. During the summer months (June–August), summer time applies with working hours 08:00–16:00.
