I am an engaged and cheerful person living with ALS, and I am now looking for personal assistants who can provide me with good living conditions and support in my basic needs.

If you have your heart in the right place and the desire to develop together with me in my personal assistance, I am now looking for you who:

• Are genuinely interested in working as a personal assistant
• Have previous experience, or the willingness to learn
• Are secure, attentive, and active
• Are flexible as I move around the island in various contexts
• See and listen to my needs
• Follow routines and handle documentation
• Have the desire to follow me in my development regarding ALS
• Work in environments where more people are nearby, such as family and friends

I live in a villa a bit outside Visby, so you need access to a car as public transport is limited. Smoking occurs outdoors in the environment where you work. I offer a good working environment with technical aids and plenty of space to move around.

Tasks:

• Personal hygiene
• Support with certain transfers
• Cleaning and laundry
• Cooking
• Shopping
• Activities
• Medication
• Cough assist machine
• Suction and mucus machine
• Routine descriptions / documentation
• Work in the home and out in society, on excursions and possible trips

I am now looking for someone who wants to work part-time.

The shifts are from 08:00-21:00 or 21:00-08:00, awake nights both weekdays and weekends.

Immediate and ongoing recruitment.

The form of employment is for a fixed term as long as the assistance assignment lasts, and the form of payment is hourly wage.

Salary and other employment terms according to the collective agreement Personal Assistance, Vårdföretagarna - Kommunal.
