About the Role
Nordstjernan is a family-controlled and foundation-owned investment company with an impressive history. Nordstjernan is housed in historic and elegant premises on Stureplan, an environment that exudes history and quality. Here, every detail is thought through, and the same applies to the service provided in the reception. As the face of the company, you set the standard from the moment a visitor crosses the threshold.
In the role of Receptionist, you are responsible for creating a welcoming and seamless experience for both external guests and internal employees. We are looking for someone who not only has a natural sense for service but is also motivated by owning their station and taking significant personal responsibility. The role is a two-year fixed-term contract, which gives you excellent opportunities to truly grow into the operations and become a central part of the office's heart. To ensure you get the best possible start and the right conditions for success, you will receive a thorough and well-planned introduction from the current Reception Manager.

Responsibilities
- Welcome and handle external and internal visitors with a strong focus on security and prior notification.
- Manage the switchboard by answering and forwarding calls with professional courtesy.
- Handle incoming email and ensure that incoming emails are answered or forwarded correctly.
- Responsible for meeting rooms and the conference department, including opening/closing and preparing food and beverages.
- Administer mail, couriers, and packages and ensure deliveries are distributed internally to the correct recipients.
- Provide administrative support for room bookings, events, and technical support during video conferences.
- Coordinate with food suppliers and assist in the execution of internal corporate events.
We are looking for someone who
- Has previous experience in switchboard and reception work.
- Has experience from offices, conference facilities, or hotel operations.
- Is fluent in Swedish (spoken and written) and has good knowledge of English (spoken).
- Is computer literate and comfortable with administrative tools.
It is an advantage if you have
- Basic knowledge of video conferencing technology.
- The ability to handle multiple tasks in parallel and under time pressure.
