We at Attendo are now looking for a nursing assistant to Attendo Iliansgården in Hemse.

Attendo Iliansgården is centrally located in Hemse on southern Gotland and is a nursing home for people with dementia diagnoses. At Iliansgården there are 30 apartments distributed over 3 wards - Ängstäppan, Åkerlyckan and Solrängi.

About the role

As a nursing assistant with us, you play a crucial role in creating a safe and stimulating environment for our customers. You are responsible for providing good care and support to our customers. Creating a positive and social atmosphere during mealtimes is a large part of your role, as well as being able to contribute with various activities that brighten up the everyday life of our elderly.

Your responsibilities include among other things:

• Personal care according to the organization's routines, based on the customer's individual needs and wishes.
• Assist with preparing, cooking and serving meals, cleaning, laundry, etc., as needed.
• Perform documentation and work based on decided interventions.
• Collaborate with external and internal contacts such as guardians, relatives, residents, nurses and rehabilitation staff.

Qualifications

• Nursing assistant education of at least 1350 credits.
• Professional certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare or certificate from current/former employer regarding permanent employment as a nursing assistant.
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language (oral and written).
• Good computer skills/computer literacy.
• Category B driver's license (depending on segment/position).

Meritorious:

• Experience from care work in elderly care.
• Experience of delegation.
• Experience of dementia care.
