The Swedish Fortifications Administration is seeking a Security Officer for Stockholm. Your daily routine – strengthening Sweden's security amidst strong growth

In an uncertain world, we have a clear focus: building Sweden's defense capability from the ground up. We build, develop, and provide defense facilities and fortifications that enable actors in Sweden's total defense to operate from secure locations. The unstable global situation means that the Swedish Fortifications Administration is growing and has a significant recruitment need. We are now looking for a Security Officer who wants to work at one of Sweden's most interesting workplaces.

As a Security Officer, you are responsible for providing operational support within security protection, particularly in larger investment projects with the local project department. The focus is primarily on information security and security protection planning. Operational support includes, for example, assistance in security protection planning, information security analyses, drafting local instructions and procedures, and conducting security protection training. Furthermore, the role involves fulfilling the tasks mandated by the Security Protection Act, the Security Protection Ordinance, as well as the regulations of the Swedish Armed Forces and the Swedish Security Service regarding security protection.

The role belongs to the group for operational security support, which is responsible for support across the entire security protection scope and provides targeted support to the project department. The group is part of the Security Protection Unit, which works under the Head of Security Protection with a focus on directing, supporting, and monitoring security protection work at the agency. The assignments are carried out in close cooperation with the Swedish Armed Forces and other partners within the defense family. You report to the Group Manager. Travel is part of the role and can be planned.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has education within the field of security protection, and experience with security protection issues including security protection planning, as well as knowledge of security protection legislation and its regulations. You have strong administrative skills, proficiency in using support systems, and good command of Swedish in both speech and writing. A Class B driver's license is required.

It is meritorious if you have experience working with physical security, information security, and security protection analysis. It is also meritorious if you have experience advising on security protection issues and conducting training. Knowledge of the Swedish Armed Forces' regulations regarding security protection service is also a positive factor. It is also an advantage if you have completed the Swedish Armed Forces' course for Security Service Officers or equivalent. Training in signals protection is also meritorious.

The position is a permanent employment, although a probationary period may apply. The location is Stockholm. As a permanent employee, you will be mobilized for war service. Employment with us requires Swedish citizenship and involves placement in a security clearance class. Security screening with register check will be conducted prior to employment in accordance with Chapter 3 of the Security Protection Act.
