The Fortification Agency is seeking a Security Coordinator for the Project Security Support Group within the Security Department. We are experiencing strong growth, and the Project Security Support Group is being expanded to better meet our partners' needs on-site in operations. The Fortification Agency is one of Sweden's largest property owners and experts in fortification, i.e., protection and facility technology. Our main task is to contribute to increased defense capability for a safe and free Sweden.

Your daily work - strengthening Sweden's security in a period of strong growth

The Security Protection Unit works under the Security Protection Chief with focusing, supporting, and follow-up security protection work at the agency. The unit is primarily responsible for the sub-areas of information security and security protection planning. The Project Security Support Group is responsible for ongoing support within the entire security protection scope. The group provides targeted support to the agency's project department, and assignments are also carried out in close collaboration with the Swedish Armed Forces and other partners within the defense family.

As a Security Coordinator, you are expected to participate in the security protection work at the agency and help develop the protection of Sweden's security. You will be active and driving, together with project managers, to support security protection in larger projects. You will participate in collaboration forms together with the agency's partners within the defense family. The position requires solid knowledge and experience regarding the identification of protected values and handling of security-protected classified information.

The position involves many contact surfaces and collaborations both within and outside the agency, and you are expected to spread your knowledge internally and externally by informing and educating. You will analyze and handle security protection incidents, and part of the work may also include supportive control activities. The role includes identifying protected values in projects, support during security protection analyses, and information security analyses. Travel occurs in the position and can be planned.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have post-secondary education in the field of security protection with very good knowledge of security protection legislation and current regulations. You have experience in qualified security protection work and several years of current experience in working with the identification of protected values, security protection analysis, physical security, and information security. You have leadership competence that we assess as satisfactory, as well as good knowledge of administrative IT support systems. You communicate and express yourself well both orally and in writing in Swedish. A Class B driver's license is a requirement.

It is meritorious to have experience of security protection work within the Swedish Armed Forces or the Swedish Police Authority's regulations regarding security protection. If you have experience in giving lectures and conducting training, this is also positive.

We need you who are relationship-building and have experience in building networks and working across organizational boundaries with different competencies as well as across agency boundaries. Being able to create understanding and a holistic view of security protection issues within several different operational areas is an important ability to be successful in this role. You can convey your message clearly and effortlessly at both the management level and in operational activities or in an investment project.

You are structured, positive, self-initiating, and have patience and the ability to work strategically towards long-term goals. To succeed in the role, it is required that you are resilient and engaged in driving your own work forward. You have a high level of security awareness with high integrity and good judgment, and a pronounced drive to help protect Sweden's security.

The position is a permanent employment, probationary employment may be applied. The location is Stockholm. As a permanent employee, you will be war-placed. An employment with us requires Swedish citizenship and involves placement in a security class. Security vetting with register check will be conducted before employment in accordance with Chapter 3 of the Security Protection Act.
