Certified Teacher Grades 4-6

If you are trained and certified as a teacher and/or have experience teaching, particularly in Natural Sciences (NO) but also Mathematics for grades 4-6, you are the person we are looking for. We place special emphasis on you having Natural Sciences in your certification.

The school you are applying to is in constant development. Teachers here should be passionate about conveying knowledge. You are as interested in education as you are in general upbringing. You serve as a role model, both as a knowledge provider in your subjects and by motivating our students through good general knowledge and upbringing.

About the Workplace

Vasalundsskolan is an independent primary and lower secondary school (Grades F-9) with approximately 400 students. Starting this autumn, the student body will decrease as we are phasing out the upper secondary level (Grades 7-9) and returning to being a Grades F-6 school. The school is located next to the Lundsbäck residential area in the beautiful and green Vasatorp in Helsingborg, easily accessible by car or public transport.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher for Grades 4-6 and are familiar with teaching in these grades. However, if you have the older 4-9 certification, you are also welcome to apply.

We would like you to contribute with engagement, creativity, and a drive to develop the operations. You meet every student with respect and sensitivity. You must have excellent knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

As a teacher here, you work to create a safe, fun, and educational school environment. You possess good leadership skills to create good conditions for a positive learning environment together with your students. You should be able to handle being challenged by students while also celebrating their successes.

As a person, you are solution-focused, non-hierarchical, flexible, and computer literate. Your working style is result- and development-oriented. Furthermore, you create sustainable relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues thanks to your strong collaborative skills.
