RESPONSIBILITIES

Are you a specially trained special needs teacher passionate about teaching and working with children and young people? Do you also have the sensitivity to meet students with various difficulties and feel comfortable acting as a bridge between the student and the teaching staff? Then you might be the right person for us!

As a special needs teacher at Annaskolan (grades 1–9), the special support primarily focuses on core subjects, but students may sometimes need help in other subjects as well. In addition to teaching mathematics at the middle school level, you will work with pedagogical assessments, action plans, be a member of the student health team, and provide guidance to staff. The position is part-time at 80 %, divided into 60 % special needs teaching and 20 % mathematics teaching.

A six-month probationary period applies.

QUALIFICATIONS

Formal Competencies: We are looking for you who are trained as a special needs teacher, which is a requirement, and who have prior teaching experience. Experience in teaching at the lower secondary level is considered an asset.

Personal Competencies: We are looking for you who are pedagogical, with a good understanding of how individuals absorb knowledge and their different prerequisites. You are flexible, quick to change your perspective and approach, and see opportunities in change. You are team-oriented, working well with others by listening, showing interest, and respect. You understand the shared mission and work to make it as successful as possible. You are independent, have the courage and ability to make your own decisions within the scope of your assignment, and are not dependent on others. You take responsibility for your tasks and drive the work forward.
