Music Teacher for Montessori Mondial Malmö

The school is a parallel F-9 school with dedicated educators and a newly renovated, pleasant environment.

Your Role

You will be responsible for music education in grades 4–9. The position also includes serving as a mentor. Through your commitment, you will contribute to the school's development and the overall operation. You place great importance on building relationships with students to nurture their curiosity, imagination, and drive.

Qualifications

As a person, you have the ability to base your approach on each student's needs and prerequisites, and you are a clear leader and a positive adult role model. You find it easy to collaborate, build relationships, and communicate clearly with students, guardians, and colleagues. You see possibilities and solutions rather than obstacles.

We are looking for you who want to work as a music teacher at our school. You will be responsible for planning and implementing teaching, assessing students' knowledge, and collaborating closely with colleagues. Your position will also include mentorship. Together, these working methods create a supportive mentoring environment.

You are a certified teacher with qualifications in music and are well-versed in the school's mission and governing documents, and can translate these into practice together with students and other educators.

Experience in similar roles and Montessori training is an advantage.

Other Information

The position is a permanent employment with an initial probationary period of 6 months (unless you meet the School Act's requirements for qualification). Part-time, 50%. Start date: August 10, 2026.
