In this role, you will belong to the section working with the integration of navigation, communication, and sensor systems onboard ships. You will work in a project format and in close collaboration with other systems engineers, designers, as well as production and commissioning personnel. You will participate in projects from the early concept phase and bidding, all the way to the delivery of the completed ship. Some tasks will be performed at sea.

• Requirements management
• Develop specifications for systems and interfaces
• Prepare construction and manufacturing documentation
• Coordinate integration work
• Handle cross-disciplinary technical issues with other technical disciplines
• Assist procurement with technical documentation for tendering
• Coordinate subcontractors for systems and subsystems
• Support production personnel
• Assist with commissioning
• Responsible for testing systems onboard

• A civil engineer or university degree in engineering, or equivalent relevant education, with an interest in technology in general.
• Good knowledge of both Swedish and English, as both languages are used in contacts internally as well as externally.

It is not required, but advantageous if you have:

• Experience and knowledge of systems integration work in complex customer projects.
• Experience with marine systems.

This is a consulting assignment, which means you will be employed by Friday.

This position requires you to undergo and pass the current security clearance requirements. For positions where our customer has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail citizenship requirements.
