Every year, the Swedish Social Insurance Agency (Försäkringskassan) makes 21 million decisions that affect people's lives and society as a whole. We pay out approximately 260 billion SEK annually. These are everyone's tax funds that we manage. It is a significant responsibility. Therefore, we think innovatively and use the latest technology to simplify, improve, develop, and deliver IT services for the Swedish social insurance system. Backend, Development, Agile Teams

We work exclusively in agile teams with a strong focus on individual responsibility and a desire to constantly improve our operations and service to Försäkringskassan's customers. As a member of an agile team, you are expected to be skilled at collaborating with open communication where the team's goals come first.

Creating a good user experience is an important part of our work. You are involved in the entire chain of analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance.

You are expected to be able to move from container and application servers to user interfaces and, together with the rest of the team, work with continuous integration, system analysis, system architecture, technical testing, and test automation. Handling incidents, debugging, and active lifecycle management are also included. Examples of tools and technologies you will encounter include Java, Jenkins, Git, Nexus IQ, OpenShift (container platform), OpenAPI, Grafana, microservices, DevOps, etc.

The position involves handling confidential information, which places high demands on proper handling. Therefore, it is important that you, who are to work with us, have a high level of security awareness.

Who are we looking for?

• Have a university degree in the IT field or experience and qualifications that can be assessed as equivalent
• Have the ability to develop software in at least one object-oriented programming language
• Act on your own initiative and take responsibility for achieving good results
• Collaborate effectively with others to achieve common goals
• Have a systematic and meticulous work approach
• Can understand and analyze complex issues
• Have good communication skills, both verbal and written
• Have good knowledge of Swedish, both verbal and written

Meritorious

• Documented experience of development in a container environment
• Documented experience of DevOps work
• Documented experience of frontend development with the JavaScript framework Vue.js or equivalent
• Documented experience of Java

Other

Two positions, permanent, full-time, with start date as agreed. Probation period may apply. In accordance with Försäkringskassan's security guidelines, background checks will be conducted in this recruitment.
