We are now looking for a Systems Engineer for a position in Karlskrona. Under general supervision, you will be responsible for systems engineering projects of moderate complexity and/or smaller systems engineering assignments. You will also be responsible for developing new product and system designs as well as components.

You will be responsible for requirements management, development, and the creation of overall system architecture and design, including the selection of main components, as well as ensuring that the developed system meets the specified requirements. This includes interface definition, and in smaller business units, the role also covers system safety and testing.

• The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to current security clearance regulations. For positions requiring security classification, citizenship requirements may apply.

• Business travel may occur. A driver's license is not required but is an advantage.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience in similar roles

• Excellent interpersonal skills as well as good communication and collaboration abilities

• University degree in a relevant field, preferably within marine technology

• Very good communication skills in Swedish and English, both verbal and written

• Experience with system integration, ship systems, sensor performance, requirements management, and verification work is advantageous
